Jeremiah is a contemporary artist whose work invites people to experience music, color, and emotion in a unique way. His artistic journey has inspired collectors, families, educators, and organizations while demonstrating that creativity has no boundaries.

Chattanooga Symphony and Orchestra showcases Brill’s art

Five paintings stroked by the mastery of artist Jeremiah Brill, a 2020 graduate of Bledsoe County High School, have been chosen as part of the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera’s 2026-27 season, Moments — the second chapter of Unspoken: Our Story Through Sound.
He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, one of a set of triplets, weighing two pounds at birth, now towering at 6’3” and continues to defy odds. At age three, he was diagnosed with autism. He has an exceptional memory for dates, geography, and spelling. Jeremiah loves to read and taught himself elements of different languages from American Sign Language to Swedish, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Hebrew, and German.
His family moved to Pikeville and in 2020, he along with his brother, Jude, and sister, Jasmine graduated from Bledsoe County High School with honors.
Each one of them had their own special gifts. While Jeremiah’s is painting and music, Jude’s passion is working with farm animals and raising golden retriever puppies for the Warrior Freedom Service Dogs program. The puppies are raised, trained and matched with veterans in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia at no cost to the veteran receiving the puppy. A portion of sales from Jeremiah’s art sold is donated to the Warrior Freedom Service Dogs program.
Jasmine, also lovingly known as Princess Jasmine by her family and friends, passed away two years ago. She was known for keeping her family laughing and on their toes, said their mother, Jacquelyn Brill Sands.
“Jasmine brought so much joy to not only our family but to everyone who knew her,” said Jacquelyn. “She lived a full life in her 22 years with us and is missed every day.”
All three of them loved their teachers at Bledsoe County High School.
“Ms. Jolene Fields was very instrumental in all three triplet’s education and personal development at Bledsoe County High School and continues to do so now six years after they graduated with honors,” Jacquelyn said proudly.
She said Ms. Chris Campbell was also one of Jeremiah and Jasmine’s teachers along with Jolene Fields.
“Not only that, but her twin girls were also in the Class of 2020. From my research – twins and triplets had never graduated the same year from BCHS,” noted Jacquelyn. “No one could remember any triplets graduating together either but I couldn’t verify that before everything shut down for COVID. Both of her girls were so kind to all three of my children.”
Jeremiah’s love for music inspires his creatively bold and vibrant works of art, just another reason they caught the attention of the Chattanooga Symphony.
Many of his works can be viewed at The Hart Gallery in Chattanooga and Small Town Ceramics in Dunlap. The Hart Gallery is where his artwork was being exhibited in 2025 when the Executive Director for the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera (CSO) Susan Caminez purchased two of his paintings to hang in her office. Jeremiah was given an invitation to create five original paintings for CSO’s 2026-27 season, Unspoken.
His commission was to create five original canvases inspired by music that made him happy and paint what he felt on the canvases. From there, his art would appear in brochures, the CSO website, and other promotional materials.
A kinship has developed between Jeremiah and Angie Harris with Small Town Ceramics in Dunlap where he did much of his painting and artist expression. Some days he would paint on one painting, while other days he would move from painting to painting. He would continue to add brush strokes until he felt the paintings were done. Once he felt the canvas was completed, he would declare “I’m done.”
He completed 13 original canvases for the CSO team to choose from – no easy task for the team. Finally, five of his originals were chosen as the best depictions of the 2026-27 season, Unspoken. When the judging was completed, the team asked if the remaining paintings could be kept and possibly used in some way.
The five paintings are being featured in various performances including:
1. “Pastel Rhythms in Motion” is incorporated into West Side Story & The American Groove
2. “Dancing Notes of Yellow” is part of Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto
3. “Symphonic Tropics” is in Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 4
4. “Night Sky Cadance” is incorporated into Mozart & Mahler: A World of Wonder
5. “Music in Color” is featured as the concert graphics for CSO’s 2026-27 season, Unspoken.
Jeremiah considers himself a “modern artist.” He studies all forms of art, and visits art museums throughout Tennessee.
His love for art actually started when he was a young boy using crayons, colored pencils, and markers, said his mother. That passion continued to grow and develop over the years.
Harris is planning an art show at Small Town Ceramics in Dunlap featuring Jeremiah’s painting and other art forms. A date has not been released as of yet, but should be announced soon.
“I am in the process of preparing his art for display and for sale by cataloging them and issuing each a certificate of authenticity. We will announce the dates via JeremiahBrill.com along with his Facebook account, Jeremiah Brill Contemporary Art,” added Jacquelyn.
Jeremiah lives with his parents in Soddy Daisy. He enjoys reading, swimming, parks, movies, live performances, and time with family.
